The Art Of Chess

Hello, thanks for popping in.

This card has been stamped using The Art of Chess from Chocolate Baroque.
As you can see I have kept colour to a minimum and have just added a hint of colour with Polychromos pencils to the centre image. The background has been created by dabbing the chequer board from the centre image with out using a stamping block and the white chess pieces in the foreground were stamped before mirror stamping them and colouring them black on the right hand side.

Musical Chess

Hello, thanks for popping in. I have two cards designed with Chocolate Baroque stamps.

My first card is stamped with Music Fanfare. I had some help with stamping the treble clef in a circle as I used my Inkadinkado stamping gear. I am quite sure I would not have achieved the circular design without it.

My second card is stamped with the Art of Chess as well as using the treble clef from Music Fanfare. Again I used the stamping gear to evenly place the treble clef around the card.

Poppy Cottage

Hello, today I have a stamp from Chocolate Baroque that has been designed by Kim Moody.
Kim has based his drawing on Judith's cottage, who is the Design Team Leader over at Chocolate Baroque, isn't it fab?

All stamped and coloured with Versafine, Distress ink and polychromus pencils.

Hello, thanks for popping in. Chocolate Baroque have recently released their new Christmas stamps so here are a couple of cards from their new range.

My first card just uses a couple of the little worker stamps from the main Christmas Garden.

My second card uses a mixture of the worker stamps, for the background, from Christmas Garden and the main image is from Christmas Circles.

Chocolate Trio

Hello, thanks for popping by. I have badly neglected my blog again... I have to admit that I enjoy the making process but the taking pictures, uploading and then writing the projects up is a bit of a faff LOL!

Anyway, here are three cards that I have made for Chocolate Baroque TV shows that have been shown on Hochanda this year.

Thanks for taking a peek.

Up And Away...

Here is a super quick card made with the same balloon stamp used in my previous post.

This card was so much quicker than the polymer frame though...I just stamped the balloon with onyx Versafine, added some colour with pencils, lightly sponged distress ink over the background using a cloud mask and then stamped the sentiment. Simples!

Thanks for stopping by.

Balloon Frame

Hi there. Here is a frame I made quite some time ago, but thought is was worth showing again as Chocolate Baroque featured these stamps in their March, Hochanda TV shows.

I covered the frame with square tiles of polymer clay that I had stamped with the heart from Fluttering Hearts. The balloon is from Punky Hearts and the polymer clay heart on the front is the same design used for the tiles. Before I adhered the heart to the frame I glued cord around the edge so that i could add some decorative beading, which I hand stitched.

Quick Card

Hi, here is a quick post to show a quick card...
If quick cards are your thing then you can see more over on Chocolate Baroque's Design Team blog

This card was created by repeat stamping the background image from Chocolate Baroque's Live Out Loud set and the little bird design is from Let Your Heart Sing and has been stamped in the same blue as the background and then cut out with a circle die cut before being added to the front of the card.

Dawn Chorus

Hello and thanks for stopping by for my first post of 2019.

This DL card was stamped using Chocolate Baroque's Dawn Chorus. It's a really quick and simple card to do. The birds were inked up with Distress Oxides and then highlighted with a white paint pen and the background is Distress inks and the swirl and feather designs were randomly stamped in the background.
