Clarity Challenge - In The Garden

Hi crafty peeps. This is my entry for Clarity Stamps monthly challenge. All the stamps used are Clarity and I have coloured it with a mixture of distress ink and promarkers. Trying to ground the deckchair was the hardest part, still haven't quite mastered this trick yet as it now looks like someone has placed the chair in a pile of mud!! Not sure you can see from the picture but I have added Glossy Accents to the flowers and Crystal Stickles to the tree blossom.
Thanks for looking....

Fantasy Flower

Afternoon all, thought I would do a quick post and show you a card I made for a recent birthday. The flower is from a Sheena Douglass stamp set. The background has been stamped and then water coloured then mounted onto black card. I then stamped the flower onto EcoArt Board, outlined it using a Pebeo liner and then painted it with the Pebeo Fantasy paints. Once dry it was mounted onto black card that I had cut using a Spellbinders die and then glued to the front of the card. The whole thing was finished off with the Happy Birthday stamp from Clarity Stamps that I again mounted onto black card.
Thanks for looking!

Clarity Stamp's First Challenge

Hello crafty peeps. Thought I would kill two birds with one stone here and make an Easter card for my Mother-in-law and also use the design to enter the first Clarity Stamp anything goes crafty challenge.
All the stamps used are Clarity and it has been coloured with Pro-markers and mustard seed and marmalade distress ink. The little oval/egg shapes were cut on the Cricut and then stamped with the Clarity daffodil stamp and then its been finished off with a generous sparkle of Crystal Stickles.
Thanks for looking.......

Hi blogger folk, thanks for clicking on my work. The project I have to show today is a wooden plaque which I have painted, inked and stamped within an inch of its life. Then die cut flowers and leaves have been arranged and attached with Pinflair Glue Gel. The background flower and swirl stamp are both Clarity and the die cuts have been cut from a new set from Stephanie Weightman.
Thanks for looking and hope to be back soon.....

Stamp Addicts Collection

Hello Bloggers, well this is my first post of the year so I suppose I should wish you all a belated Happy New Year, however judging by the complete lack of comments to this blog there is probably no one to wish Happy New Year to!!
I have been busy crafting as always and the makes I have to show today are all made using Stamp Addict stamps. The Ballerina easel card has been stamped and then masked so that Ballet Shoes can be stamped as a background and then coloured with water colour and distress ink. The frame was cut out of an old cardboard box using a Sizzix die, painted pink and then wrapped with organza ribbon. The large flower has been layered up and spritzed with spray ink, the Ballerina sentiment was stamped onto card and mounted using a sticky fixer to create the stopper for the easel and the the bow was added to a cut off piece of cardboard that I had wrapped in organza like the frame.

This butterfly card has been made by combing a couple of Stamp Addicts sets, but as usual has been coloured using a variety of distress inks. All of the circles were cut using spell binders dies. A couple of the background circles were created using the resist technique and the remaining  two were created by sponging distress ink through a mask created by the spell binders die. Butterflies have been stamped and some have been cut out and mounted with Pinflair Glue Gel and Crystal Stickles applied to the wings for added interest.

This wall hanging has been created by using strips of raffia to make the "vine" and then one of Stamp Addicts cube stamps has been stamped into Sculpey Ultra Light white clay. I cut the daisies and ginkgo leaves out of the clay and then baked them. Once cooled I coloured them with a mixture of water colour and distress ink. The daisy centres were decorated with Glossy Accents and clear glass beads. Once they were all dried I glued a button threaded with wire onto the back of each flower and ginkgo leaf so that I could then tie the wire around the raffia and secure into place.

Paper Mache Book

Hello Blogger peeps, hope you are all well. Haven't posted anything for a while so no change there then. The project for today is a decorated box in the shape of a book which came from Hobby Craft. Basically I covered the box/book with Gesso and then water colour before stamping onto tissue and then sticking the beach images to the box. A few dabs of Distress ink have been added along with some Crystal Stickles glue for extra glitteryness! All the stamps come from Crafty Individuals and the shells are courtesy of a beach in Devon......

Thank You

Afternoon folks. The card for today is this little thank you card made using the Poppy stamp set from Hobby Art. I was lucky enough to see Jenny from Hobby Art at the Newbury show and she demonstrated this set and let me take away the sample which was a great help. I have coloured the image using Brush Markers and a water brush then mounted the image onto blue card. The red panel was embossed using the Cuttlebug and the Thank you was a stamp from Clarity. Seemples.... and when a card is needed in a hurry like this one was then very quick as well!

1 Today

Just a quickie to show today. I made this cute frog card for our friend's little daughter's first birthday. I think the frog stamp was from Funstamps which I stamped in memento ink and coloured with Promarkers. The 1 today was stamped with memento ink and again coloured with Promarkers. Both the stamps were from Crafters Companion.  I added green gingham paper to the top left corner and finished the card off by adding a stamped happy birthday banner to run diagonally across the card.
Told you it was quick.....thanks for looking and see you again soon.

Evening all....Hope you are all surviving the lovely summer weather. We are currently in a lovely cottage in Devon dodging showers and enjoying fun walks with Ellis. Today was brilliant. Katie and myself went out to explore with Ellis and ended up walking up and down hills that had turned themselves into mini streams. ( Trev was conveniently parked in front of the telly watching the beach volley ball) We asked  some locals if they really were streams and they said "oh no you mean the flood!"lol. Anyway back to the card I have to show. This was a super quick card that I made the other day.I started off by stamping the mini and then covering with a mask. Then I stencilled the union jack from Stamps Away and then added the 13 and birthday boy on spellbinders dies. This card took minutes, can you tell.......

Hello! The card I have today is one I made back in April for a friend's birthday and have just got round to blogging it! Well I was changing the background of my blog so thought as I was here I might as well post something so had a root around and found this....
I think you can tell the card was for a man. I think the beer stamp was from Personal Impressions. The background stamp is from The Stamp Man and the 40 was cut on the trusty Cricut. The card has been coloured with Distress Ink and finished off with blue and brown Candi dots from Craftwork Cards and there you have it.....  until next time. Ta ra.

Morning blogger peeps. The card I have for your inspection today is a recent birthday card I made for a friend.
I painted Gesso onto 5 chipboard inchies and then applied some blue and lime green panpastels to them before stamping the Inkadinkadoo birthday images using black Versafine. I found the flowers in my stash and dabbed the edges of the petals with the lime green panpastels and finished them off with a Candi dot from Craftwork Cards.
Nothing too complicated I think you will agree. Thanks for looking and will be back soon.......

Oh dear! This is Katie's birthday card that I made for her birthday almost a month ago and I have only just got around to blogging it. Definitely getting out of practice of updating my blog. As usual I have pretty much forgotten the products used. I think the stamps were from a set by Creative Expressions and the shoes were cut on the Cricut. The background was coloured with Distress inks and the sentiment was printed from the computer. I had a go using Indigo Blu's glue which allows you to stamp with it and then add gilding flakes. I was really pleased with the results but not if you can see from my picture that the flakes were used on a couple of the background perfume bottles.
Thanks for looking and see you soon.....hopefully!
