Are You Having A Giraffe...!

This is the card I made for my daughter’s birthday today. The stamp set used is from Pink Ink Designs https://pinkinkpatterns.patternbyetsy.com/ and inside the sentiment reads “Are you having a giraffe,” which I thought was appropriate for a lockdown birthday.

Venus Fly Trap

Hi, thanks for popping in, today I have something a bit different to show you...

My daughter and her boyfriend are involved with our local amateur dramatics society (Reading Operatic Society) who were due to put on Little Shop of Horrors this week...well the Corona virus had other ideas and the show has had to be postponed for a while. By chance I saw this Venus flytrap design on Simply Crafty SVGs which is reminiscent of the plant in the show so I decided to cut it on my Scan N Cut and make it to display on their raffle ticket table.

I have never done anything like this before and was quite pleased with the end result. There were  a couple of mistakes along the way but all things considered, it turned out ok.

Hopefully the show will go on very soon......

Nearly Spring...?

Hiya, the three projects I have for you today have all been stamped using Chocolate Baroque stamps and I think you will agree that the sight of snowdrops and bluebells gives the impression that Spring is just around the corner...Well we can all hope that there will soon be a change in this awful wet weather we have been having, can't we?

Needle Felting

Hi, thanks for stopping by. I was given a needle Felting kit for Christmas. This is a brand new craft for me and was eager to have a go...

This little red squirrel is my first attempt and I am quite pleased with him. I have ordered some more wool so watch this space...lol
