Deco Template

I created this for the Papercraft Essentials designer of the year competition but was not one of the lucky winners. Now that I have set up my blog I don't feel the need to send my work to the magazines for approval as I am really happy posting my work here where people can drop by and have a look if they wish.
This gift box card was made using the template from Creative Craft Cabin. http://creativecraftcabin.com/index.html
I went to an all day workhshop which was run by the shop in Twyford last May and had a fabulous day, in one of the workshops we were shown how to use the template so I decided to buy it and now use if for my "special occasion cards".

The topiary tree is made from polystyrene balls skewered onto a chop stick (sounds painful!)and then die cut leaves pinned onto them. The flower panels are made from die cut circles glued together with a leaf die from the Cricut Solutions Home Accents cart. The front has been stamped with the Wisteria tapestry stamp set

  3. Know what you mean about the comps even though I was lucky enough to be a runner up in said mag! I think perhaps it is a bit pot luck and not necessarily a snub to our art. It is nice that most people in blog world leave positive comments or at least are kind enough not to comment at all if they have a negative thought!

Love your heart on the next post by the way, and why have you not entered the new Graphicus challenge then? You should do.
