Paper Mache Book
Hello Blogger peeps, hope you are all well. Haven't posted anything for a while so no change there then. The project for today is a decorated box in the shape of a book which came from Hobby Craft. Basically I covered the box/book with Gesso and then water colour before stamping onto tissue and then sticking the beach images to the box. A few dabs of Distress ink have been added along with some Crystal Stickles glue for extra glitteryness! All the stamps come from Crafty Individuals and the shells are courtesy of a beach in Devon......

Thank You
Afternoon folks. The card for today is this little thank you card made using the Poppy stamp set from Hobby Art. I was lucky enough to see Jenny from Hobby Art at the Newbury show and she demonstrated this set and let me take away the sample which was a great help. I have coloured the image using Brush Markers and a water brush then mounted the image onto blue card. The red panel was embossed using the Cuttlebug and the Thank you was a stamp from Clarity. Seemples.... and when a card is needed in a hurry like this one was then very quick as well!

1 Today
Just a quickie to show today. I made this cute frog card for our friend's little daughter's first birthday. I think the frog stamp was from Funstamps which I stamped in memento ink and coloured with Promarkers. The 1 today was stamped with memento ink and again coloured with Promarkers. Both the stamps were from Crafters Companion. I added green gingham paper to the top left corner and finished the card off by adding a stamped happy birthday banner to run diagonally across the card.
Told you it was quick.....thanks for looking and see you again soon.

Evening all....Hope you are all surviving the lovely summer weather. We are currently in a lovely cottage in Devon dodging showers and enjoying fun walks with Ellis. Today was brilliant. Katie and myself went out to explore with Ellis and ended up walking up and down hills that had turned themselves into mini streams. ( Trev was conveniently parked in front of the telly watching the beach volley ball) We asked some locals if they really were streams and they said "oh no you mean the flood!"lol.
Anyway back to the card I have to show. This was a super quick card that I made the other day.I started off by stamping the mini and then covering with a mask. Then I stencilled the union jack from Stamps Away and then added the 13 and birthday boy on spellbinders dies. This card took minutes, can you tell.......

I think you can tell the card was for a man. I think the beer stamp was from Personal Impressions. The background stamp is from The Stamp Man and the 40 was cut on the trusty Cricut. The card has been coloured with Distress Ink and finished off with blue and brown Candi dots from Craftwork Cards and there you have it..... until next time. Ta ra.

Morning blogger peeps. The card I have for your inspection today is a recent birthday card I made for a friend.
I painted Gesso onto 5 chipboard inchies and then applied some blue and lime green panpastels to them before stamping the Inkadinkadoo birthday images using black Versafine. I found the flowers in my stash and dabbed the edges of the petals with the lime green panpastels and finished them off with a Candi dot from Craftwork Cards.
Nothing too complicated I think you will agree. Thanks for looking and will be back soon.......

Oh dear! This is Katie's birthday card that I made for her birthday almost a month ago and I have only just got around to blogging it. Definitely getting out of practice of updating my blog. As usual I have pretty much forgotten the products used. I think the stamps were from a set by Creative Expressions and the shoes were cut on the Cricut. The background was coloured with Distress inks and the sentiment was printed from the computer. I had a go using Indigo Blu's glue which allows you to stamp with it and then add gilding flakes. I was really pleased with the results but not if you can see from my picture that the flakes were used on a couple of the background perfume bottles.
Thanks for looking and see you soon.....hopefully!

Afternoon all! The card that I am showing you this sunny afternoon is also coincidently a sunny yellow colour. I stamped the 14 before covering with a mask and then overstamping the card with stars, the little butterfly and cupcake that all come from a number set from Crafters Companion. I used promarkers to colour the card and then used cut and dry foam to add the yellow distress ink for the background. To finish the card I added white highlights using a white inkessentials pen.
I have been busy with 14 year old birthday cards as it was my daughters 14th birthday yesterday so hopfully will be back sooner rather than later to show Katie's card.
Ta ra for now.

Good afternoon blogger peeps. The card I have today is one I made for my mother-in-law as she is currently in hospital after having a nasty fall.
The tree image was stamped using Clarity stamps and different coloured inks to make it look like blossom. The corner stamp was a freebie from a magazine and coloured with watercolor and the sentiment is from inkadinkadoo.
The card was finished off with a die cut Spellbinders butterfly which I inked and glitterd and attached to the card with Pinflair glue gel.
Hope to be back soon and thanks for looking, ta ra....

Hello blog people. The card I have to show you all today was made for a fellow crafter using a haberdashery stamp set from Joanna Sheen. It's not often I get to make a card for someone else that likes all things crafty so I hope she likes it!
The background was coloured with distress ink and then over stamped with images from the set. Simple masking was done for the tape measure and zip stamp so that no overlapping lines appeared. The sewing machine was taken from the set and coloured using water colour pencils and then a mat and layer was cut using spellbinders dies. The Happy Birthday was mounted onto the card with foam pads to finish off and there you have it.
Oh well back to rain watching and seeing if I can pick a few drier moments to take Ellis for a walk.
Thanks for looking!

Mini Canvas
Good morning folks, on this lovely sunny Tuesday morning. I have had this canvas laying around my craft room for a while so thought I would take a picture to add to my blog. As I made this some time ago I can't remember all of the crafty bits used but the usual distress ink has definitely been used to colour the background and the die cut grungeboard. The little butterfly started off as plain silver but I added alcohol inks to make it look more aged. Maybe alcohol ink has been added to me as well, oh no silly me just plain alcohol has had that affect........
Thanks for looking and see you all soon.

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's day bloggers, hope everyone is having an enjoyable day and all Mums are being pampered and waited on. Well we can wish can't we lol. This is the "card" I have made for my mother in law this year. I say a card but I suppose it's a take on the exploding box that has been around for a while. I have added a paper flower arrangement in the centre made out of Cricut dies from the aptly named cartridge "Mothers Day Bouquet". I attached the flowers to wire stems and stuck them into a half cut polystyrene ball which I have coloured with a black promarker and then glittered with crystal glitter. The Happy Mothers Day in the opened box was also cut on the Cricut. The panels were created from nesties and the outside of the box was stamped with a design from Chocolate Baroque.
Thanks for looking and hope to see you again soon. Byee...........

A New Baby
Good morning. My next door neighbours have just had their third baby which was a boy so I made this quick card for them using a stamp from Sheena Douglass. I coloured it using Promarkers. The die cut lace has been coloured with a blue distress ink and I matched it by using the same ink to colour the backing card to the image and sentiment.
Thanks for looking...

Flower Collage
Hi folks. Not sure if there is anyone left out there that still looks at this blog, but thought I would carry on posting crafty makes even if it just acts as a library/reference for myself. This card was stamped with a set from Artemio and coloured with distress ink. The butterfly was stamped and embossed first then masked off before the postcard design was stamped over the top. The dragonfly is also from the same set and stamped using a light grey ink to give a faded, watermark look. Hopefully it reached my Aunt in Canada in time for her birthday but I have a sneaking suspicion that it was probably a few days late. (sorry Aunty Doris!)

Wall Hanging
Hi blogger people. It's been a while (again) since my last post and a new year has started and still nothing has changed lol!
The wall hanging I have to show you today was made from three wooden dolls house windows. I stamped into hearty clay for the individual squares. The frame edges have been decorated with melted wax which has been poured into a border mold and the paper flowers have been inked and stamped. There was a tiny bit more to it than that but I'm sure you get the idea! Thanks for looking, see you again soon x
